Wes’ career in construction began after earning his Civil Engineering degree from the University of South Carolina. He started in Washington, D.C., where he managed large-scale projects. Later, he returned to Charleston, taking on the role of Deputy Director of Facilities and Maintenance for the City of Charleston, where he oversaw complex projects and operations for eight years. This diverse experience laid the foundation for Chappell Builders, combining technical expertise with a deep understanding of client needs.
