Chappell Builders was founded in 2022 by Wes Chappell, a Charleston native with over 20 years of experience in commercial construction and project management. Wes’ career in construction began after earning his Civil Engineering degree from the University of South Carolina. He started in Washington, D.C., where he managed large-scale projects. Later returning to Charleston, taking on the role of Deputy Director of Facilities and Maintenance for the City of Charleston, where he oversaw complex projects and operations for eight years.
